Mozart Bach and Schubertã¢ââ¢s Ninth Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts November 17
From the Kansas Urban center Ballet's much-predictable production of "The Wizard of Oz" to Black Violin's return to the Kauffman Center, Kansas City flies its flag as a civilization town this season, with a whirlwind of concerts, plays, art exhibitions and more than.
To a higher place: Seen hither in an Installation view, "Michael Rees: Pneumatopia" incorporates awe-inspiring inflatable vinyl cubes and an interactive app accessed by digital tablets. The exhibit continues at the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, through October. 21. Photo by E.G. Schempf
